There are alternative temperature settings for those who do not like to use heat on their curlz, however the heat setting isn’t extremely hot like most hair dryers so chances of heat damage are little to none. Due to the large circumference of the head, the heat spreads out more evenly which also decreases chances of heat damage. It comes with a manual on how to properly use and care for the dryer. It is recommended that hair is fully detangled with our Curlz Detangler before using the Curlz Dryer.
